SIEMENS HiPATH 5000
The HiPath 5000 Real Time IP System consists of a central IP networking server that enables companies with between 10 and 1,000 users and up to 32 locations to enjoy reliable voice communication with full feature access coupled with exceptional ease-of-use. The software is shipped on CD-ROM and can be installed on any commercially available Windows 2000/2003 server. It supports a variety of functions, such as simple connection of branch offices and home workers and connection of applications that can be used across the network.
Future-proof and cost efficient
As an end-to-end IP-based solution, HiPath 5000 is a cost effective system that leverages the benefits and flexibility of IP technology. This is because the same network is used to carry voice and data communications. Having just one network to manage means lower administration expense and a substantial reduction in operating costs. HiPath 5000 is a scalable communication platform which, thanks to the breadth of solutions that run on it, can be tailored to meet companies' individual needs.
In a HiPath 5000 solution, HiPath 3000 is used as a gateway to the Wide Area Network. This also provides a highly secure solution which guarantees the maintenance of communication if a breakdown ever occurs in the company IP network.
