SITE SURVEY
This is a comprehensive process that requires the completion of a detailed site survey document. This captures critical information to ensure the best design and implementation plans are formulated to meet the most demanding of customer requirements.
Details captured may highlight the need for a more detailed technical survey of specific elements which are considered a potential risk to the proposed implementation. Alternatively, the project manager will ensure potential risks are highlighted and managed during the project to mitigate any potential problems and ensure the communication solution is implemented in a professional manner and to our customer’s expectations.
Our site survey document is continually being updated to implement lessons learned and covers all aspects of the installation, including:
- Site security, H&S, working/access times and delivery arrangements
- Power, earthing and UPS requirements
- Minimum specification on customer supplied equipment
- Existing circuits and cabling infrastructure
- WAN and LAN environments
- Current communications platforms
- User training rooms/customer specific requirements
- New building/hazardous conditions
