CENTRAL RETAINS THE AVAYA BUSINESS PARTNER OF THE YEAR TITLE
For an unprecedented second consecutive year, communications specialists Central Telecom have been awarded the title of Business Partner of the Year by Avaya, global leaders in communication systems, applications and services.
The company, whose headquarters are in Burton-on-Trent and which has regional offices in London and Guildford, was presented with the title of Business Partner of the Year 2007 at the Avaya Business Partner Conference, which took place in Paris.
The highly contended title of Enterprise Business Partner of the Year is presented to the best performing Avaya Platinum Enterprise Business Partner in EMEA.
Nick Roullier, Avaya’s UK Country Manager, commented: ‘The award for the best performing Enterprise Business Partner is based on business growth, revenue achievement and general sales and marketing performance. Our Enterprise winner, Central Telecom, is a high-level applications sales-driven business, which has enjoyed significant growth in Avaya business’
Receiving the award, Central's Managing Director, Andrew McDougall said:

The Avaya Enterprise Business of the Year title follows Central’s successful retention of the Enterprise Converged Solution of the Year at the 6th annual Channel Network Awards.
Central won the title of Enterprise Convergence Solution of the Year for the fourth year running by designing and implementing an innovative, yet highly robust Avaya IPT solution for Sunderland City Council, built in two separate data centres and providing the biggest roll out of SIP in EMEA.
